Kerry and Marie McCarthy of Faribault invite you to Sweet Spot Candies at 209 Central in downtown Faribault.
Kerry retired after 27 years as a paramedic, while Marie has taken some time off from her nursing career at Cannon Valley Clinic and together they've launched their dream of opening a candy store. "We've been thinking of opening a candy store for awhile and we like what we see going on in the downtown with buildings being renovated and a number of new shops opening," says Kerry. Marie's favorite movie is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." She says the best thing about her new job is, "It's magical and fun every single day. Everyone is a child when they come into the candy store, whether they're 80 or 8!"
